Our Story

Keeping Our Promise to Keep it Local

Brewery 33 Hocking Hills became what it is today after the owner and brewer, David Kornmiller, purchased the present building on College Prospect Drive in Logan, Ohio. Brewery 33 started renovations in the fall of 2015 and finished in the spring of 2017. Most of the renovations were done by Dave and his family. Brewing started in February of 2017 to prepare for the grand opening.

We are a local brewery in the heart of the Hocking Hills, providing a fresh variety of quality beer. Brewery 33 was also the first brewery to open in the Hocking Hills region.

WE ARE FAMILY FRIENDLY! We also welcome your leashed dog to our outdoor covered areas and large beer garden.

The brewery opens daily at noon.

Amy Stahl

Manager

Amy is originally from Findlay, Ohio, where she worked for 30 years as a Clinical Medical Assistant. Her roles at the brewery include staff management, business administration and taproom management. Among her hobbies, she enjoys gardening, photography and traveling.

Dave Kornmiller

Head Brewer

After graduating from Logan High School, Dave went on to become a machinist and a businessman. He was home brewing long before he bought the Brewery33 building in 2015. Dave values the creative side of brewing and in his off time, enjoys motorcycles, hiking, outdoor activities and traveling.
